The Role
Looking for a driven, acquisitions analyst for our San Francisco based private equity firm, Greywhale Capital. Greywhale Capital focuses on multifamily investments in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Denver, Phoenix and the Carolinas.
Acquisitions Analyst will be a rockstar at underwriting commercial multifamily - you’ve got to love numbers, details, and verifying information.
Responsibilities
Underwriting
Analyze 10-15 multifamily opportunities per week
Determine offer price range based on projected returns
Build Detailed Project Budgets
Document and support all assumptions
Research & Verification
Market data (e.g. market demographics, rent and sale comps)
Capital expenditures (e.g. unit renovations, structural investments)
Operating expenses (e.g. taxes, insurance, fees, contract services, etc…)
Communication
Timely turnaround of initial underwriting
Presenting deals in Deal Review
Provide data to support the underwriting
Requirements
Undergraduate education. preference for finance or business degree
Extensive knowledge of Excel Models & Macros
Background or experience commercial real estate underwriting
Motivated and a self-starter. Someone who can figure things out and enjoys independence!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Driven, responsive, energetic, problem solver
Ability to quickly turnaround accurate underwriting within 24 hrs
Loves working with numbers, extremely detail oriented
